We at the Good Shepherd
Home from time to time interact with the younger genration
through various seminars and programmes in the schools to
tell them about old age, its problems and challenges. We
aim at imparting the knowledge that old age is no hinderance
and the children should take care of their parents. During
these programmes at times we get some of the most unusual
comments from the children. Some of them are listed below

I liked the interaction between
the Elderly and the students and the question session.

We liked this program because we
all share our feelings with you. My comment or Suggestion
is that there should not be any oldage home. |

In this program, I realized the
feeling of Elders and also that as a child I can solve
the problems and make my parents and Elders understand.
My suggestion is that such programs should be conducted
all over the world so that there is no need for“OLDAGE
HOMES”. |

I got challenged that we should
love and take care of our Elders. It is a very good
approach to make the younger generation aware of their
duties toward The Elders. |
