Dear Friends/Saints
Greeting in His name ! Its a good feeling to be writing
to you once again, God continues to bless us every moment
of our journey and we now enter into our 5th successful
year. During this period we were able to (James 2:14-17)
comfort, care, love and motivate nine persons including
an Elderly couple.
| 1. Mr. George Smith 75 Yrs.
|
2. Mr. Julius Rupa |
| 3. Mr. Harnam Singh 85 Yrs. |
4. Mr. Luis Xavier |
| 5. Miss Suprabha Maish 65
Yrs. |
6. Mrs. D.P. Singh |
| 7-8. Mr. & Mrs. Mathew
67 and 60 Yrs. |
9. Dr. G. Joshi |
We continue to forge ahead
with our school programs impressing upon children that their
parents and the Elderly are their concern and responsibility.
The response has been overwhelming and we have been encouraged
by the authorities to conduct these programs at all schools
and go up to national level. May God's will be done !
ABOARD* the old Age Home,
the dear ones continue to do their own work, showing the
world that age is not a barrier. We continue to make our
few coppers (paise) by making paper bowls and black board
chalk.
God's Faithfulness has
encouraged us through all times of sickness and want. As
we enter into the 5th year we have experienced his word
when it says, He is no one's debtor ! Not one of Our bills
are pending !
It gives us great joy and
an honour to God to inform you of an exciting development.
Being on rented premises has always hampered our growth
and pace. With God's blessings we have paid a token amount
of Rupees One Lakh for a plot measuring 1.5 acres (2.5 Bigas)
pr approximately 68,000 Sq. feet. The total cost of the
land alone is approx. Rupees Ten lakhs. As always Lord will
provide all we need.
We urge you friends, to
come forward and help us in your most generous way. Encouraging
words with helping hands will make our task much easier.
All cheques/DD to be drawn in favor of : The Good Shepherd
Home, payable at Indore.
We believe in time to come
this Old Age Home will be a great comfort to our Elderly
and may be, some of us. The Elderly who are slowly but steadily
being isolated and neglected, need your support. Come join
us, together we'll help them smile, through their tears.
Judge not the
Lord by feeble sense,
but trust Him for his grace.
Behind the frowning providence,
He hides a smiling face.
In the closong chapters
of their lives we present God's question, "What does
it profit you to gain the whole world and suffer the loss
of your soul"? It brings about a realization, great
comfort and an eternal decision.
May God's choicest blessings
be upon you and your dear ones.
yours, a bond servant,
in His service.
